We are excited to announce that we are working on a project for the Indianapolis Colts to help build a bronze statue of Peyton Manning. We’re collaborating with Ryan Feeney from Indy Art Forge to complete this project.
We’ve seen our fair share of unique projects, but this one has created a huge buzz around our Theme Factory. “We are thrilled to work with Peyton, the Indianapolis Colts, and Indy Art Forge on this project,” commented Armando Lanuti, an owner of Creative Works. “Every Colts fan loves Peyton, and our staff is honored to be a part of this tribute to one of the greatest players of all time.”
Our responsibilities are front-loaded in the statue production process. We will use images from a photo shoot with Manning to create a 3D computer model. With the model as a guide, we will hand-carve a full size statue from foam. This foam statue will then be delivered to Feeney so his team can complete the molding and forging process.
All parties involved are tight-lipped about what the statue will look like. “We can’t reveal any details or renderings,” added Lanuti. “Colts fans will have to wait until the statue is unveiled, but we think the wait will be worth it.”
In all, this project will take almost a year to complete and will be officially revealed at Lucas Oil Stadium prior to the start of the 2017 NFL season.
